An Effective Way to Give
Lake Braddock Secondary School has established a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) at the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, the Bruins in Action Donor Advised Fund. How does the Bruins in Action DAF Work?
As an integral part of the eighth grade multi-disciplinary capstone Bruins In Action (BIA) project, the Lake Braddock Secondary School (LBSS) Bruins in Action DAF is used to collect money during an academic year from students in accordance with FCPS regulations. Students will donate these funds in the form of an aggregated grant to the Community Investment Funds of the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia. Parents and other members of the LBSS Community can donate to this fund. At the direction of the Bruins in Action program, the Community Foundation will provide individual grants of up to $10,000 through a competitive selection process to Northern Virginia nonprofit organizations.Parents, Staff & Community Members: Donate Below.
