The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia provides you with a simple, powerful, and highly personal approach to giving. We offer a variety of giving tools to help people achieve their charitable goals and accept gifts per the Community Foundation’s Gift Acceptance Policy. Most charitable gifts qualify for maximum tax advantage under federal law.

To make a gift using a check, make the check payable to the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, write the name of the fund you want to donate to in the memo line and mail your check to:
