The Jackson Robert Greene Memorial Athletic Scholarship recipient is someone who embodies daily life through love and vibrant spirit.

Jackson was a 2012 graduate of Herndon High School where he played football for 4 years and basketball for 1 year. He also participated in the Herndon Optimist Football and Basketball programs for many years. Sports, whether participating in or being a spectator of, were a big part of Jackson and the Greene family’s lives.  His many friends came from the sports teams he was on and being part of the team was much more important to him than being the star of the team. Dedication to his teammates and positive sportsmanship were the foundation of his passion for sports and he was an example for others to emulate.
