2021 Grantee CornerstonesThe Safety Net Fund is a component fund of the Permanent Fund for Northern Virginia, an unrestricted endowment at the Community Foundation that makes grants to relieve the suffering caused by poverty in Northern Virginia.

In 2021, the Community Foundation's Safety Net Fund awarded $115,988 to 12 organizations through its annual Community Investment Funds grant cycle.  Read more about all the grantees here.
