College Funds for Northern Virginia High School and College Students
(Oakton, VA) - The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia has opened its scholarship applications for the 2020 – 2021 school year. The scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors in Northern Virginia, and current college students.Last year the annual program awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships to help 110 area Northern Virginia students attend the college of their choice. Each scholarship has different selection criteria, allowing opportunities for a diverse range of students.
“The challenges of paying for college are well documented. Our goal is to help more students from our community fulfill their academic dreams” said Eileen Ellsworth, President and CEO. “These scholarships help offset the soaring cost of college,” said Ellsworth.

- Cameron and Virginia Dye Scholarship

- Elizabeth Koury Scholarship
- Rose Koury Scholarship
- Vance International, Inc.
The applications managed by the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia are due by April 2nd. Additional scholarships are available, with deadlines throughout the spring.
