Mitch is one of the founding Partners of Cordia Partners, a Northern- VA based professional services firm that provides consulting, recruiting and staffing and outsourced accounting services to Washington, DC metropolitan area organizations. Cordia serves not-for-profits, government contractors, and other businesses. Mitch has been instrumental in assisting clients with management, staffing and operations of their accounting departments.Mitch has over twenty-eight years of professional experience primarily serving the not-for-profit community. He has extensive business advisory experience in areas of strategic planning, technology, reengineering, government compliance, budgeting, and forecasting, cost allocating, cost containment, alternate revenue and reserve analysis.
Mitch is the immediate Past-Chair of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, on their Executive Committee and currently heads up their Strategic Growth Council. He is Chairman of the Board of Interfaith Works in Montgomery County, Board Member of the Washington DC Economic Partnership, and immediate past Treasurer of Potomac Community Resources. Additionally, Mitch is a member of the Economic Club of Washington, D.C., and will be Chairman of the Board of the Men of Saint John’s, where his daughter attends.
Mitch was just awarded Smart CEO Magazine’s 2016 Center of Influence Award for CPA’s, Finalist in 2016 Profiles in Success Leader of the Year and was given the Chairman’s award for both the Fairfax and Montgomery County Chambers of Commerce. Additionally, he and fellow partners at Cordia were just awarded by Smart CEO Magazine as one the DC Metro Area’s 2016-17, Best Run Businesses.
Mitch is a CPA, has B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland and resides in Montgomery County MD.
